Laptop requirements

Platform: Windows 7+, MacOS, Ubuntu 14.04+
Sequencing laptop requirements:

  • USB-A port
  • Wifi connection
• Software:
  • MinKNOW
  • Docker
    • Windows/Mac - Specifically ‘Docker toolbox’
    • Ubuntu - Docker
  • Kitematic

Analysis laptop requirements:

• Hardware:
  • Wifi connection
• Software:
  • Vagrant
  • VirtualBox
  • Windows 10 users may need to uninstall Hyper-V in order to use Vagrant and VirtualBox
  • Atom (Optional text/code editor)
